Beautiful flowers enhance any special occasion whether it is a wedding, anniversary or memorial event. It is a great pity that they are then discarded to wilt and die.

What do we mean by 'flower preservation'? We don't mean 'flower pressing' which gives only a flat finish, and we don't 'air-dry' the flowers which leaves the blooms brittle and shrivelled. What we do mean is a skilled preservation technique which transforms your living flowers into long-lasting 3-dimensional pictures, retaining as much of the original look and shape of your arrangement as possible. Although the process we use is centuries old and well-tried, very few people are aware that professionally preserved flowers can still resemble their living state and provide long-lasting pleasure.

Will my flowers look exactly the same after preservation? We can't promise that they will look exactly the same. This is because the preserving process can darken some flowers and some flowers are easier to preserve than others. Generally you can expect a degree of colour change, for example a red rose will become a very deep red, whereas, pink or white roses will retain their original colour to begin with but will 'mellow' over time to give the arrangement an antique look. It is always best to discuss your choice of flowers with us before ordering your bouquet from the florist.

It is also important to remember that not all floral preservationists are 'artists'. It takes an artistic eye and a great deal of skill to transform a beautiful, living bouquet or arrangement into a floral work of art.
